Company Purpose
The purpose of Covenant Information Services is to deliver superior professional consulting services that meet or exceed client expectations. The business continues to grow by concentrating on client needs and exceeding client expectations, both in service and in attitude. We are a Sage Software reseller for Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas.

Consultant Bios

Janice Holt, CPA
CEO and Senior Consultant

Janice Holt, CEO and founder of Covenant Information Services, LP is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of North Texas. Janice has over eight years’ public accounting experience and 25 years experience implementing accounting software. Prior to founding Covenant, she served as Consulting Manager for Grant Thornton in Dallas. There she was responsible for managing client implementations of integrated accounting systems and the re-engineering of client business processes. Previously she served as corporate controller for a $30 million apparel manufacturer where she managed all accounting functions and served as Systems
Administrator.

Janice is a certified consultant for Sage ACCPAC Plus, Sage Accpac ERP and Technisoft’s Service Manager. She is a member of the American Society of CPAs, and Dallas Chapter of the Texas Society of CPAs.  She served on the Board of Directors for The Heritage Guild of Collin County Texas for six years and served as their treasurer.  She still volunteers there on a weekly basis. She is a founding member of the award winning Living History Program at Chestnut Square. Janice has successfully completed the Leadership/Citizenship of McKinney class of 2005-06.  She was also selected to participate in the Strategic Leadership of McKinney.  This group of community leaders is working with world renowned futurists to set goals and strategy to make McKinney an innovative global city.  She also participates in an advisory group for the Historic McKinney Town Center Study which is an extension of the City of McKinney’s 2004 Comprehensive Plan.

Robert J. Masters
Senior Consultant

Robert Masters is a business and information systems consultant with over 20 years of experience in the implementation of business process improvements through the application of information systems and communication technologies.  He has significant project management and management consulting experience guiding project teams to the successful completion of business process analysis, and redesign, information systems analysis and implementation. Robert has worked with companies to build and implement communication, collaboration and workflow intensive systems to support various business processes, including sales management, procurement, manufacturing, service-based operations, employee development, and customer service.  As a quality systems consultant, Robert has assisted several companies obtain the ISO 9001:2000 certification. Robert also has several years of hands-on computer network installation and day-to-day network administration experience. He is a Certified Consultant for Sage Accpac ERP, Sage Accpac CRM and Technisoft's
Service Manager.

Robert attended the University of Washington in Seattle and earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in March of 1982.  He attended the University of Texas at Austin and earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Operations Management.  Robert is a Certified Production and Inventory Manager (CPIM), by APICS.

 

Dan Henderson
Senior Consultant

Dan Henderson brings valuable experience to the team at Covenant. He is a computer professional with over 25 years in many vertical markets including banking, telephony, oil and gas, super-computing and health care.  He has served as Vice President of Information Technology and Systems for MedSynergies, CIO of Medical City Dallas, Ltd, as well as, President and CEO of iNetSpace, Inc., a company he founded.   He has deployed many different systems including an application service provider server farm for health care application and various operational Unix and Microsoft-based applications.  Dan's experience with information systems range in size from the single server to dozens of servers to mainframe systems.  He demonstrates great ability to translate technical systems requirements into understandable and imaginative presentations. 

 

At Covenant, Dan uses his extensive experience  to continue architecting, designing and implementing technology and infrastructure solutions.

 

Dan is a 29-year veteran of the Texas Air National Guard and currently a colonel in command of the 136th Aircraft Maintenance Group.  He has over 300 members in his command and deployed in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in 2003.


Dan has an MBA from the University of Dallas and a BS in Computer Science from Baylor University in Waco.
